About Natalia S. Mcessy, Aesthetician Specialist
I arrived at skin care through somewhat of a winding road. Growing up I loved nothing more than dressing up, playing with makeup, and styling hair. I was the epitome of girly. As a dancer getting to wear all those glittery costumes and stage makeup only fueled my love for all things beauty. Deep down I think I always knew I would end up in the beauty industry. At 17 I graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, CA. I then attended San Jose State University majoring in criminal justice with a minor in psychology. I rushed, pledged, and eventually became a member of Alpha Phi sorority. As much as I was fascinated by (and still am) criminal justice, I came to the realization that criminal profiling was something I enjoyed reading and studying about in more of a hobby sort of way and not so much in making a career out of it sort of way. I made the decision to do a complete 360 and attend beauty school. I originally started out studying cosmetology. After about 4 months though I decided esthetics was where my heart really was. I loved the science side just as much as I loved the people side of it. I graduated from The Salon Professional Academy in 2015. I then sat for and passed the California State Board exam. I began working for Mary Andrews right out of school. I started out assisting her and then built up my own clientele while still working closely with her. She taught me so much and my years with her are something I will forever be grateful for. I couldn’t be happier with my career choice. I love all aspects of what I do. I love my clients, listening to them, sharing advice, laughs, and sometimes tears. I love making people feel amazing about themselves. I love constantly continuing to expand my knowledge in the field of skin and beauty. Most of all I love being able to use my passion to make a positive impact on the world. I look forward to seeing you soon!
