About Narat J. Eungdamrong, MD
I took the scenic route to medical school, first receiving my PhD at Harvard University and then completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine before enrolling in medical school at Weill Cornell Medical College. While in medical school, I completed a clinical and translational science fellowship in psoriasis at Rockefeller University. My experience there and during my clinical rotations taught me just how much skin conditions can affect one's well-being and quality of life. My practice philosophy is that of collaboration between the physician and patient. I believe the best medical care is delivered when I have a thorough understanding of patient values, needs and concerns. An individual’s skin is how the world sees you. I enjoy working together to help my patients look and feel their best. After 15 years in New York City, my fiancee and I enjoy exploring the natural beauty of Southern California with our dogs, Penelope and Lily. We can most often be found hiking the hills of Torrey Pines and looking for the best Thai restaurants in San Diego. I have also been practicing CrossFit since 2012.
