About Murray J. Seltzer, DMD
Dr. Murray Seltzer graduated from Temple University Dental School in 1990. Prior to studying at dental school, he attended Ocean County College and graduated with an Associates Degree, and Stockton State College with a BA in Liberal Arts . After graduation from dental school he continued his education at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, as a General Practice Resident, where he earned a certificate in General Dentistry. Since he began practicing dentistry almost twenty years ago, Dr. Seltzer has kept up to date on many continuing education classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. He is currently a member of the medical/dental staff in the Department of Operative Dentistry at Jersey Shore. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and The Jersey Coast Dental Forum. He is a founding member and past president of the Southern New Jersey Chapter of the Tucker Cast Gold Study Club and The American Academy of Gold Foil Operators in New Jersey. Dr. Seltzer is also involved in ice hockey as an official and administrator. He has worked games at all levels, from youth to high school and college to professional hockey. He was the Expert Dentist for USA Hockey and a member of the Safety and Protective Equipment Committee from 1998 - 2005.
