About Monica D. Duarte, DDS
Dr. Monica Duarte was born and raised in San Jose. She attended The University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Dentistry wasn't her first choice as a career path. Initially, she went to school to become a Physical Therapist until she crossed path with a dentist/mentor that helped her discover her true passion for dentistry. She has been in the dental field for over 14 years. She loves the art, science, technology, flexibility of dentistry but what is most fulfilling for her is being able to provide caring, quality, comprehensive treatment for her patients. She loves being able to come to a practice that doesn't feel like work. A practice where staff and patients help create a family environment. She appreciates being in a position to change smiles, educate her patients, and promote dental health. She is passionate about staying current on the ever changing dental field and is an active Member of the Spears Continuing Education Program. Dr. Duarte routinely attends continuing education courses and is heavily involved with multiple dental study groups. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with family, traveling and being outdoors.
