About Millard P. Thaler, MD
Millard Thaler, M.D. graduated medical school in 1976 from the University of California at San Francisco as a Regents Scholar. He did his internship at University of Southern California, Los Angeles County Hospital. After completing his internship, Dr. Thaler did a NIH research fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco and then went on to do his dermatology residency at UCSF. He became board certified in the field of dermatology in 1981. He went on to train as a Brittingham fellow in MOHS surgery. He has performed consultant work with Arizona State University Health Department regarding dermatologic problems as well as with research corporations such as Harris Laboratories in investigating new dermatologic drugs and Artes Corporation, who manufactures Artefill. He belongs to the American Academy of Dermatolgy, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and Phoenix Dermatology Society. He has several publications to his credit. He gets the most satisfaction in dermatology by removing patients' skin cancers and performing cosmetic facial reconstruction.
