About Michael Smolen, DDS
Dr. Smolen is a 1983 graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He practiced as an associate for 6 years in the Chicago area before moving to Long Beach in 1990. Dr. Smolen has studied extensively and has broad experience in all facets of general dentistry. He has a special interest in cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Smolen has attained Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry.Dr. Smolen is a member of the American Dental Association. He is also a member of the California Dental Association and the Harbor Dental Society and has held leadership positions with these organizations. This past year Dr. Smolen volunteered his time with the “Remote Access Medical” and “The Modern House Call for Women” programs.
