About Michael Oppedisano, DMD
Born and raised in New York, Dr. Michael Oppedisano is a co-founder of ARCHPOINT Implant Dentistry. He earned a bachelor's degree in biology at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 1999 and was awarded a one-year research training position at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, a branch of the U.S. National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. In 2004, Dr. Oppedisano received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. From there, Dr. Oppedisano relocated to Dallas to specialize in prosthodontics at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry from 2004 to 2007 and pediatric dentistry from 2007 to 2009. He also received his master's in oral biology at Baylor. Dr. Oppedisano is board certified in both prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Dr. Oppedisano's extensive background includes the treatment of infants, children, teens, and adults requiring routine oral hygiene services or advanced restorative treatments. He was previously the director of pediatric dentistry at Bear Creek Family Dentistry in Dallas and is an assistant professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry. He is a member of the craniofacial team at Children's Medical Center in Dallas and a regional treatment provider with the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasia.
