About Michael A. Novak, DDS
Dr. Michael A. Novak is a general dentist who practices with an emphasis in cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry, including the surgical placement of implants. He has extensive experience in full mouth rehabilitation for both cosmetic and functional reasons. He attended Northwestern University Dental School and was appointed as a Clinical Instructor in the Prosthodontic Department after graduating in 1986. In addition, he also attended the implant-training program at the Center for Dental Implants at Northwestern University and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in his career. Dr. Novak is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois State Dental Society. He is a past President of the West Suburban Branch of the Chicago Dental Society. He has been active in dental research throughout his career and holds two United States Patents and one Canadian Patent. He has also been the recipient of numerous awards and honors including the International College of Dentists and The Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Novak is an Alumni of the Dawson Academy, Associate Member of the Henry Schein Oral Health Advisory Board, and a Mediator with the Peer Review Committee of the Illinois State Dental Society. Dr. Novak is Vice Chairman of the Dental Division and is a member of the Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce. He has practiced at this location for over 30 years. In his spare time, Dr. Novak enjoys the great outdoors, fishing, and manages his family farm in Central Illinois.
