About Michael J. Medler, DDS
A native of the Greater Rochester Area, Dr. Medler received his undergraduate education at St. John Fisher College, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He put his undergraduate degree to work at Strong Memorial Hospital, where he spent five years in clinical microbiology. Dr. Medler earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, Dr. Medler completed a hospital based residency at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ, in association with Atlantic Health Systems and Hackensack University Medical Center. Following residency, Dr. Medler moved into private practice in the Hudson Valley region. Dr. Medler, his wife Sarah and stepdaughter Arianna, have returned to his roots in order to associate with the North Coast Dental Group. He is a General Dentist, a long-standing member of the ADA, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a welcome addition to the North Coast Dental Group family.
