About Melissa Pysnak, DDS
Dr. Melissa Pysnak used to work evening hours at Cottonwood Dental, but has now joined us full-time in the office. She grew up in Bountiful, Utah and received her Bachelors of Science degree in Nutrition from Brigham Young University. Before pursuing a career in dentistry, Dr. Pysnak served an LDS mission in the Czech Republic where her family is originally from. She earned her dental degree from the University of Utah School of Dentistry and completed a one-year general practice residency at the George E. Wahlen VA medical center. While there, Dr. Pysnak received advanced training in various aspects of dentistry including implant surgery, sinus grafting, bone grafting, and IV sedation. Dr. Pysnak has participated in dental humanitarian trips to the Dominican Republic and Philippines and loves volunteering in the community. When she isn’t working, you can find her outside hiking, kayaking, camping, or playing tennis. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
