About Matthew Richardson
Dr. Richardson was then selected to complete a five year head and neck surgical residency program in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. During his residency, Dr. Richardson was selected to join the prestigious medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. He also served as Chief Resident, received the Academic Award for the highest score on the annual in-service examination, and was a two-time recipient of the Mary Manasco Spirit Award as the most outstanding resident for his hard work, leadership skills, and professionalism during his surgical training. Upon graduation, Dr. Richardson was selected through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to join Dr. Daniel Rousso in Birmingham, Alabama as his fellow in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Hair Restoration Surgery. During his year with Dr. Rousso, Dr. Richardson was able to perfect his techniques of cosmetic rejuvenation of the face, nose, neck, and scalp, as well as advanced hair transplantation and hair restoration techniques. After his fellowship, Dr. Richardson returned to Texas to establish Texas Facial Aesthetics.
