About Marleen M. Masuoka, DDS
Dr. Marleen Masuoka studied dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993. She had previously received bachelors degrees from the University of California, Davis, and the University of California, San Francisco. Following her graduation in 1993, Dr. Masuoka practiced in a pediatric specialty practice for six years. She joined her brother in 1995, practicing family and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Masuoka has continued her dental education completing a Comprehensive Program in Esthetic Dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco. She has completed studies in Dental Sleep Medicine, which includes treatment for snoring and sleep apnea. She is certified in the use of hard and soft tissue lasers and has completed an Associate Fellowship with the World Clinical Laser Institute. Dr. Masuoka also leads a Spear Education Study Group with local general dentists and specialists, focusing on comprehensive patient treatment planning. Dr. Masuoka resides in the local area with her family. She enjoys traveling, reading and is a certified scuba diver.
