About Marcus Lin, DDS
Dr. Lin was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area. He graduated from Arroyo High School as class valedictorian and then went on to complete a degree in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. After working in the biotechnology sector for a few years, Dr. Lin attended Meharry Medical College where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2003. There he also received the El Selvier Award for excellence in research and published a journal article. He later moved to New York City to pursue post-graduate studies. There he completed a General Practice Residency in Brooklyn, NY at the Interfaith Medical Center where he received advanced training in all phases of dentistry including oral surgery and trauma, hospital dentistry, implants, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics (root canals), prosthodontics, and orthodontics. Dr. Lin has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including a children’s dental center as well as a mini dental implant and cosmetic dental center. He enjoys performing all phases of dentistry, helping people achieve their best smile. He is certified in Fastbraces and Clear Correct invisible aligner technology. Dr. Lin is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, California Dental Association, and the Southern Alameda Country Dental Society. In addition, he has completed hundreds of hours of advanced clinical training, always keeping up to date in the latest techniques and technology to provide the highest level of dental care, in a gentle, caring, and comfortable environment. Recently, Dr. Lin has been selected for inclusion in The Guide to America’s Top Dentists.
