About Marcus Capalbo, DMD
Becoming a dentist was a lifelong dream for Dr. Marcus Capalbo. Growing up in a family of dentists, he always aspired to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, father and brothers. Dr. Marcus is the seventh dentist in his family. His father and uncle still practice in the office founded by his grandfather in Westerly, RI. Dr. Marcus graduated from Providence College and then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. At Tufts, he earned a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degree. Following dental school, Dr. Marcus attended the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the UConn Health Center Hospital. Dr. Marcus still continues his education, taking classes and attending seminars all over the country. Dr. Marcus enjoys staying active and is an avid golfer and skier. His favorite way to spend free time is with his family at the beach. He is passionate about animals and enjoys cooking. Dr. Marcus and his wife just welcomed a baby girl this January.
