About Lukasz M. Skomial, DDS
Dr. Lukasz M. Skomial received bachelor (B.A.) degree in Biology from University of Rochester in 2003 and his DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2007. He continued his training at Manhattan VA Hospital completing a General Residency Program in 2008 and Post-Graduate Prosthodontic training in 2011, where he gained extensive expertise in esthetic, implant and reconstructive dentistry utilizing some of the most advanced dental techniques and technologies available. In the final year of residency, Dr. Skomial was selected a Chief Resident for the dental service at Manhattan Veteran Administration Hospital. In 2011, after completing the training, Dr. Skomial decided to continue his career within Veteran Administration, taking over General Practice Residency Program and becoming Assistant Chief of the Dental Services at Brooklyn VA Hospital. He also actively practices within VA system, providing excellent care to our nation's heros. In private practice, Dr. Skomial utilizes his expertise to provide patients with highest quality of dental care. Dr. Skomial is an active member of NJ Dental Association (NJDA) , American Dental Association (ADA) and American College of Prosthodontists (ACP). Dr. Skomial serves on Peer Review Committee for New Jersey Dental Association. Dr. Skomial is originally from Poland and speaks Polish fluently. In free time, he enjoys spending time with family, his wife Anna and their beautiful children Lucas and Victoria.
