About Lucia Seminario-Vidal, MD
Dr. Lucia Seminario-Vidal is a board-certified dermatologist in the Department of Cutaneous Oncology at Moffitt and an assistant professor in the University of South Florida (USF) Department of Dermatology. She is the associate director of dermatology clinical research, and the director of the dermatology consult service providing inpatient dermatology services at Moffitt. Dr. Seminario specializes in general and complex dermatology, with a special interest in cutaneous lymphomas, drug eruptions, cutaneous diseases in immunocompromised patients, and skin cancers. Dr. Seminario is also the lead dermatologist of the multidisciplinary cutaneous lymphoma clinic at Moffitt. In this multidisciplinary clinic, each patient’s care plan is reviewed by a highly expert team of physicians with extensive, focused training in their area of specialty, giving them additional insights and knowledge to help make the best treatment decisions. Dr. Seminario enjoys working with medical students and residents in clinic as well as in scholarly activities and research projects. During her career, she has received numerous awards related to her clinical and research endeavors. She is widely published, and has presented her work at diverse local, regional, national, and international meetings. She has developed investigator initiated studies and has participated in more than 30 clinical trials. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and an active member of the International Cutaneous Lymphoma Society, the United States Cutaneous Lymphoma Society, and the Society of Investigative Dermatology. She participates in national committees, including the scientific committee of the Society of Dermatology Hospitalists and the external grants committee of the Women Dermatologic Society.
