About Lori V. Thomas, DDS
Dr. Lori Thomas was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. After graduating from the prestigious University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1998, she spent the next four years practicing in Clio, Michigan. In 2002, she happily joined her brother, Dr. Timothy Vanitvelt, and Dr. Richard Halliday in their private practice at Villa Linde Dental in Flint. Villa Linde Dental has since become Town Center Family Dental. This is the dental practice that Dr. Thomas was a patient in, starting as a young child. Dr. Thomas’ father, a local orthodontist, introduced her to dentistry at a very young age, and played an integral role in her decision to pursue a career in dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the Genesee District Dental Society. Dr. Thomas has served on the Board of Directors of the Genesee District Dental Society for 8 years, during which she was both Secretary and President. She has also been a State Delegate in the Michigan Dental Association. Dr. Thomas enjoys donating her time to her profession and her community. Currently, Dr. Thomas is serving on the Mott Children’s Health Center Board of Directors.
