About Leda M. Whitmer, DDS
It was the 1960s. The comment went right over my head. I just assumed my homeroom teacher didn’t hear me right. I surged forward in my academic career, oblivious to any obstacles. I’m a triple Bruin. An inveterate student devoted to excellence. And it makes me mad when patients come my way who have received expensive and unnecessary treatment. You see, I am the family dentist. I see the kids of the kids I used to tend to. I’m there for the births, soccer games, graduations, weddings and funerals. I can’t think of any other profession that provides that kind of long-term continuity. Over the decades, I’ve learned what kind of conservative dentistry is best for the long run.
