About Laurie T. Hanschu, DDS
Dr. Hanschu graduated from the University of California San Francisco Dental School in 1982. Prior to studying at UCSF, she attended the University of California at Berkeley and graduated with a degree in Physiology. Since 1985, Dr. Hanschu has been in her current location and has continually invested in continuing education classes to make sure that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. She is a board member and frequent lecturer for the Multidisciplinary Alliance for Professional Success, a group that sponsors high quality professional education for local dentists. Dr. Hanschu has taken over 150 hours of continuing education in the past two years. She is currently a member of a Spear Education Study Club in Sacramento. She has received training from Dr. John Kois, Dr. Frank Spear, the Pankey Institute, and CORE; she has also received training in premium dentures from the Geneva Institute. Dr. Hanschu was recently voted a Top Dentist by her professional peers in a survey conducted by Sacramento Magazine. Outside of the office, she enjoys singing with Sacramento Master Singers, playing tennis, skiing, cycling, cooking, and spending time with her husband Jim.
