About Kyra Holt, DDS
Originally from Canada, Dr. Kyra Holt's family made the move to Texas when she was 11 years old, and she has proudly called it home ever since. She earned her D.D.S. degree from The University of Texas School of Dentistry here in Houston, graduating in the top of her class. During dental school, Dr. Holt enjoyed being an active member of many student organizations and served as student chapter president of the Texas Association of Women Dentists. As a result of her leadership, she was awarded the Outstanding Female Dental Student award. Dr. Holt was also honored with the senior award in Esthetic Dentistry, for which she has a special passion. Dr. Holt obtained her undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University with a major in Biology. She also studied Korean Language and Mathematics. Her dental interests include educating patients about their oral health, preventing oral diseases, and making her patients proud to smile. Dr. Holt's philosophy of care centers on delivering high-quality treatment that both she and her patients can feel great about. Dr. Holt's hobbies include drawing and painting, reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband Cody and their two daughters, Eden and Audrey.
