About Kimberly M. Eickhorst, MD
Dr. Kimberly M. Eickhorst is a native of Northern New Jersey. She received her undergraduate degree from The University of Virginia, as an Echols Scholar concentrating in both Biology and Commerce, and was awarded the prestigious honor of “Lawn Resident.” In 2003, she graduated from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, in Piscataway, New Jersey and went on to complete her medical internship at Pennsylvania Hospital. As a resident in dermatology at Columbia ~ St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan, Dr. Eickhorst was elected to the position of Chief Resident. In 2007 she became board certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and went on to pursue work in private practice with Affiliated Dermatologists and Surgeons in Morristown, NJ, as well as certification as an ACGME-Procedural Dermatology Fellow specializing in Mohs surgery. Dr. Eickhorst has privileges at Danbury Hospital and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She is also a contributor to Skin & Aging: Practical and Clinical Issues in Dermatology, and co-authored a chapter in Textbook of Aging Skin (Springer). Her dermatologic specialties include but are not limited to: Mohs surgery with cosmetic reconstruction, surgical excisions, skin cancer treatment, medical dermatology, and cosmetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, sclerotherapy (leg vein treatments), and laser therapy for treatment of hair reduction, unwanted blood vessels, and facial rejuvenation. Dr. Eickhorst strives to bring the latest medical advancements to her patients, with a thoughtful human touch, delivering the highest level of patient care possible.
