About Kent C. Howard, DMD
A family man and long-time resident of the North San Diego County Coastal area, Kent Howard has been practicing dentistry since he graduated, with several honors, from the University of Oregon Dental School in 1976. His expertise lies in preventative dental care, restorations, esthetics, endodontics, periodontics and orthodontics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the San Diego County Dental Society. Dr. Howard is also a member of Delta Dental of California and an active member and sponsor of Swami’s Cycling Team. Dr. Howard’s wife, Joy, is a registered nurse and owns her own business, Dental Ed Inc., which teaches OSHA compliance, infection control guidelines and medical emergency training. They have two children, a son owns and teaches music at Visions Music Academy and a daughter who teaches for Dental Ed Inc.
