About Kenny A. Robles, DDS
Kenny Alejandro Robles, DDS was born and raised in Cuba. Dr. Robles moved to the United States in 2007, when he was in his third year of dental school in Cuba. Once in the United States, he continued to pursue a career in dentistry. In 2013, he graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology. While at UCLA, Kenny Alejandro began mentoring Latino youth who aspired to transfer to a four-year university. During this time, he also worked with the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) performing research that focused on stem cells in submandibular salivary glands. In May 2017 Dr. Robles graduated from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Based on his outstanding clinical skills, Alejandro was selected to rotate between two extramural locations within the Southern California area which included San Diego and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation dental clinic in downtown Los Angeles. While at the at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation dental clinic, he was able to attain a keen grasp on working with medically compromised patients. He is currently completing a Masters program in Orofacial Pain, TMJ Disorders and Sleep Apnea. As an active member on the board of trustees of the Hispanic Dental Association. Alejandro has a desire to use his dental career in continuing to work with the Latino community in raising awareness, while providing necessary and appropriate dental care. Dr. Robles is extremely excited to be part of the wonderful team at Woodlake Family Dental and to get to meet new and established patients. Dr. Robles is fluent in English and Spanish.
