About Kenneth T. Sumida, MD
Dr. Kenneth Sumida is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a California native who obtained his undergraduate education at the University of California in Davis. He received his medical education at Tufts University Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts and currently practices in Folsom CA (near Sacramento). Upon completing his General Surgery residency at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, he further specialized in Plastic Surgery at the University of California at Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. Currently, Dr. Sumida is on the medical staff at Mercy Folsom. Dr. Sumida has been elected into Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha (an honor society for medicine). He is also an active member of the Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society and the American Medical Association. He is a former board member of the Sacramento Ballet.
