About Katyleydis Del Pino Caro, DDS
Dr. Katy was born in Cuba and acquired her Dental Degree at the Dental Faculty of the Highest Institute of Medical Sciences of Santiago de Cuba in 2000. She moved to the United States in 2006 and completed an International Student Program at Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2012. She is a member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association. Dr. Katy is very friendly, gentle and quality oriented with a catchy, outgoing personality. She loves being a General Dentist and enjoys a wide variety of dental procedures: from pediatric stainless steel crowns and pulpotomies, space maintainers, to root canals, crowns, dentures, bridges, even wisdom teeth extractions of moderate complexity, and restoring implant crowns. Dr. Katy is also experienced in administering minimal oral sedation and nitrous oxide for anxiety control. She works with patient of all ages and provides dental education and counseling. She has previously worked at a mostly pediatric practice (for 6 years), but also treated adults. Dr Katy is passionate about community work, and has worked as a volunteer doing dental presentations for children in some public schools. When not in the office, Dr. Katy enjoys volleyball, riding bicycles, barbecuing, swimming, dancing and karaoke.
