About Karen E. Izzo, DDS
Dr. Karen grew up on the northwest side of Chicago and graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1991. She opened her office in 1995, in the neighborhood she grew up in and enjoys getting to know her patients like family. Dr. Karen is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry and is a member of the Arcolian Dental Arts Society. Dr. Karen enjoys treating patients of all ages and has loved sharing in the lives of her patients and their families. She is committed to delivering excellent care to all of her patients by staying up to date with newest dental technologies and research. Dr. Karen enjoys all phases of dentistry and believes that oral health is an intricate aspect of overall health. Through a combination of state-of-the-art care and a compassionate heart, she works to serve her patients and meet their individual needs. She has a passion for helping patients meet their oral health goals whether they are general or cosmetic. Dr. Karen believes that well educated patients make the best decisions and, therefore, commits herself to spending time with each patient to ensure all treatment options are fully understood. I believe that quality care is the result of communication and teamwork between the patient and the dental care team. I love working with my patients to give them the healthy and happy smiles they deserve. Dr. Karen and her husband, Bob, have two children, Colleen and Kevin. Her interests are walking, theatre and spending time with friends and family.
