About Julie Parks, DDS
Dr. Parks has been practicing dentistry for 16 years. She attended Michigan State University then went to University of Detroit Mercy where she received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1995. She received post doctoral training in dental technologies such as CEREC (computer dentistry) and implant dentistry. She continues to attend numerous educational and training classes to keep current on new developments in the field of dentistry. Dr. Parks is a member of numerous dental organizations such as American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She was chosen by Detroit Hour Magazine as one of Detroit’s area top 100 dentists. Dr Parks cares for each patient as if they were family. Her patients are of utmost importance. She has a great bedside manner that will help sooth any patient’s fears. She prides herself in the ability to empathize and discuss dental needs and wants in an easy to understand manner. Dr. Parks spends time outside of the office volunteering in local schools and scout troops to teach children about dental care. She has helped make mouthguards for sports teams to keep them safe from injuries. Dr. Parks lives in Rochester Hills with her husband and 3 children. She is active in her community, schools, scouts and local sports teams.
