About Julie A. Alter, DMD
Dr. Julie Alter graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2004. Prior to studying in Florida, Dr. Alter lived in her native country Venezuela, where she earned her first dental degree at Universidad Central de Venezuela in the year 2000. After Obtaining her doctoral degree, she furthered her skills with a residency at Nova Southeastern University in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in June 2005. Upon completion of this program, she joined the practice of Dr. Alan Burch, one of Aventura's most reputable dentists. Since she began practicing dentistry, Dr. Alter has been keeping up to date with current advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing educational classes, ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive current and advanced dental care available. Dr. Alter has advanced experience in every aspect of Dentistry including Restorative, Endodontics, Periodontics, Pediatric, Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics and Implant dentistry. In addition, she stays current with the most cutting-edge advancements in the field. Dr. Alter has received an intense and rich clinical experience in a fully bilingual setting, with a multicultural background over the last 15 years. My passion for my profession is renewed daily by the community of patients I am privileged to serve. With humility and a fanatical attention to detail and precision I help each patient to achieve the healthy, youthful smile they want and deserve. Dr. Alter is married and has 3 children. She enjoys spending time with her family. Dr. Alter is fluent in English and Spanish.
