About Joshua A. Greenwald
Joshua A. Greenwald, MD, FACS grew up in Florida. While in high school in Miami, he was an all-American water polo player. In 1991, he earned his degree from Columbia University where he competed on the swimming and water polo teams. He was a member of the 1988–89 Eastern Intercollegiate Swimming League championship team. Dr. Greenwald graduated from the New York University Medical School in 1995. He remained at NYU for his general surgery training. During this time, he completed a two year fellowship at the NYU Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. His area of interest was gene therapy of craniofacial abnormalities. Dr. Greenwald received numerous awards for his research contributions.
