About Joseph Vollo, DDS
Dr. Joe (the name our staff uses) studied biology and chemistry as an undergraduate at SUNY Geneseo, graduating with honors. He then spent a year working at the University of Rochester in a microbiology lab. This ultimately led to a wonderful career in dentistry. “I love science and learning,” he says, “but I also love interacting with people. I enjoy fine detailed work and the ability to really perfect something. Dentistry has become the perfect blend of all of this for me.” After receiving his DDS at SUNY Buffalo, he completed his post-doctoral Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Western New York Veterans Hospital. He then spent an extra year at the hospital, where he gained advanced training with dental implants before eventually starting in private practice in 2014. Today, Dr. Joe is a big fan of sports, especially the Sabres and the Bills. He always makes time to play hockey once a week down the street at the Lakeshore Ice Arena.
