About Joseph Moussa, DDS
Joseph Moussa, DDS, is happy to serve the communities of Montclair and Englewood, New Jersey, through services offered at Montclair Dental Spa. Dr. Moussa combines his passion for innovative improvements in dental technology and techniques with sincere compassion and genuine respect for his patients. Dr. Moussa graduated from Damascus University College of Dentistry in 1993. He then served two years in the army, performing dental services in clinics and hospitals before launching a successful private practice abroad. When Dr. Moussa became intrigued by the exciting field of implantology and cosmetic dentistry here in the United States, he closed his private practice and was accepted to the prestigious New York University Dental School. The emphasis of his studies there included implant and cosmetic dentistry. He graduated from New York University in May 2003 and was offered the position of Associate Professor of Implantology in their postgraduate program. Dr. Moussa also spent an additional year of didactic and clinical training at the Rosenthal Institute in Manhattan, New York City, to perfect his skills in aesthetic dentistry. This training included porcelain veneers and full-porcelain restorations. He continues his close relationship with the university and regularly attends continuing education courses to increase his knowledge of cutting-edge technology. He maintains memberships in several prestigious associations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the LANAP Laser Therapy Center. Dr. Moussa is also a LANAP Certified Clinician and LAPIP Certified Clinician and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Despite his impressive educational achievements and widely recognized clinical expertise, Dr. Moussa remains a warm and friendly dentist who loves helping each patient achieve the goal of a healthy, beautiful smile.
