About Jordana S. Gilman, MD
Dr. Gilman graduated cum laude from Williams College in Williamstown, MA. She received her medical degree, with distinction, from The George Washington University, in Washington, D.C. She performed her internship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent's Medical Center in New York, NY. Dr. Gilman performed her Dermatology residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, NY. Dr. Gilman is board certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Gilman is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Gilman is known for her light hand and the natural looking results that she provides to her cosmetic patients. Every face, every body, every person is an individual. Being board certified means that Dr. Gilman completed four years of medical school after graduating from college, then went on to perform one year of training in general internal medicine (internship) and three years of training in Dermatology (residency). After successfully completing these additional years of training, she passed a two-day board examination to become board certified in Dermatology.
