About John A. Girotto, MD
John Girotto, MD, FAAP, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Girotto specializes in cleft lip/palate and craniofacial surgery as well as jaw reconstruction and orthognathic surgery. Dr. Girotto has been practicing plastic surgery since 2002. He earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri. He completed a combined general and plastic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and a craniofacial fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Girotto’s clinical interests include acquired and congenital anomalies of the head and neck. Additionally, he is leading a new multidisciplinary effort dedicated to pediatric breast differences, including gynecomastia in boys and breast growth asymmetries and macromastia in girls. Although he specializes in pediatric cleft lip/palate surgery and craniofacial reconstruction, his passion is for assuring that all patients have the highest quality of team care possible.
