About Johanna Yepez, DDS
Dr. Yepez is a dentist specialized in Prosthodontics, with over ten years of experience in dentistry. Dr. Yepez was born in New York and raised in Colombia South America. She received her degree in dental surgery in 2002 from the University Autonoma of Manizales (Colombia). In pursuing her interest in Esthetic and Restorative dentistry, Dr. Yepez became part of the University of Texas School of Dentistry in 2008 where she completed a year of preceptorship in Prosthodontics followed by three years of Master Science Degree program in the same field. She graduated with a Master on Science in Dentistry and a certificate in Prosthodontics. After being exposed to different areas during her career, Dr. Yepez acquired special interest in the areas of oral rehabilitation and the replacement of missing teeth. Her areas of interest are: Full mouth rehabilitation, implant dentistry, removable and fixed prosthodontics. Dr. Yepez is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics as well as other professional and scientific organizations. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr. Yepez volunteered for the Biomaterials Research Center at the University of Texas Health Science center School of Dentistry Houston from 2009 to 2010. Dr. Yepez is the founder of an ITI net study club in Houston. Dr. Yepez enjoys her free time with her husband Rodrigo doing outdoors activities and exploring the city of Houston as well as antiques hunting. She also loves to hear her husband’s paramedic adventures.
