About Jerome L. Millan, DMD
Dentistry has enabled me to meet so many wonderful people. I treat my patients as I would my family. It gives me great pleasure to help people every day to achieve oral health and have beautiful smiles. Patients come to me with his or her own individual goals and clinical needs. Together, we form a partnership to find solutions to their dental problems. I enjoy educating my patients on the benefits of good oral health and encourage them to achieve their goal for their mouths. I chose to become a dentist because of the wonderful results I received through orthodontic treatment when I was younger. Prior to orthodontics, I could not close my lips together and was self-conscience of my appearance. I knew I wanted to pursue a career in dentistry in order to make a similar difference in my patients’ lives. Each year, I attend a variety of continuing education classes. Dentistry is an evolving field, with new technologies, treatments, and materials constantly being developed. By staying current on these changes, I’m able to provide my patients with the best care options and services. I regularly participate in local study clubs, to learn from and with my peers. I grew up in NE Philadelphia, about a mile from my office. My wife and I met at Penn State University and have been married for more than 35 years. My son and daughter both attended Penn State, as well. My son is a dentist and my daughter is a speech pathologist. When I’m not working, I like to spend time with my family, playing tennis, and working out at the local gym. I also enjoy reading, traveling, and photography.
