About Jeffrey G. Manheimer, DMD
I am Dr. Jeff Manheimer. I have been practicing at 166 Washington Avenue in Dumont since March 1992. I've lived in Bergen County for most of my life, growing up in River Vale and having graduated from Pascack Hills High School in Montvale. I then attended Stanford University and returned to New Jersey for dental school at UMDNJ New Jersey Dental School in Newark. I am married to Deb and we have 3 children, Zach, Rebecca and Hannah. My hobbies and interests include a love of travel, photography, college football, and watching my kids play their different sports. I seem to regularly find myself at baseball, soccer, lacrosse or basketball games. Throughout the years I've learned that there is a lot more to practicing dentistry than drilling and filling. Our office philosophy is we care about our patients and their total welfare. We want to make their lives better. This can simply mean regular cleanings to prevent gum disease, placing implants to replace lost teeth so you can chew better and enjoy eating, or redoing your smile to give you the confidence you need to succeed in the workplace. It also means understanding everyone has individual needs and desires. I consider my patients my friends and think most of them feel that way about me too. My main practice philosophy is to take care of my patients as if they were my family!
