About Jeannine Stevens, Aesthetician Specialist
Jeannine’s comprehensive experience includes 23 years as Head of Education at the Barbizon School of Modeling, 9 years as a Make-up Artist and Special Advisor for the preliminaries of the Miss America Pageant and past director of Public Relations on the American Academy of Medical Aesthetics. In 1977, Ms. Stevens was among the first licensed aestheticians in Maryland. Jeannine Stevens began her professional aesthetic career training under plastic surgeons and joining the clinical pioneers in implementing “cosmeceutical” products, acid peels and skincare in a medical environment. Working with the physicians and nurses, she participated in developing protocols for post-operative wound care for the face and body. She continued further training under Dr. Obagi and was hired as a Product Trainer, traveling to medical practices, teaching the application of the Blue Peel and incorporating the use of pharmaceutical grade ingredients. Jeannine Stevens’ years of “evidence based experience” has made her a specialist in skin rejuvenation. Her ethical standards and commitment to patient satisfaction is her incentive to never giving up her quest for more knowledge through continuing her education. Jeannine Stevens is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, The Society of Cosmetic Chemists and the organization of the Facial Plastic Surgery Assistants.
