About Jason P. Hansen, MD
Born and raised in Utah, I attended Davis High School before pursuing a chemistry degree at Weber State University. I interrupted schooling to serve an LDS mission to the South of France along the Mediterranean coast. After completing medical school at the University of Utah, I enjoyed dermatology residency as a ""Hawkeye"" at the University of Iowa. During residency, I discovered a love of skin cancer surgery and pathology prompting me to complete subspecialty training in a specialized skin cancer surgery technique, called Mohs surgery. I've enjoyed the past decade in Utah focusing on treating skin cancer and look forward to many more years in this pursuit. In addition to my medical career, I enjoy keeping up with my wife and five children in tennis, skiing, traveling, soccer, dance, and all things family. With more than a decade of experience in over 16,000 surgeries, my fellowship training in Mohs surgery and cutaneous oncology has positioned my practice to focus exclusively on the treatment of skin cancer.
