About Janet Y. Li, MD
Dr. Janet Y. Li joins U.S. Dermatology Partners, serving patients at U.S. Dermatology Partners Dallas Presbyterian, U.S. Dermatology Partners Corsicana, U.S. Dermatology Partners Sherman, and Center for Dermatology Plano. Dr. Li earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston and a Doctor of Medicine from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. She completed an internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, and a dermatology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She recently completed a micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle and is trained in Mohs surgery. “The most rewarding part of my job is being able to talk to my patients and getting to know their stories,” Dr. Li says. “I also enjoy providing the best care for patients diagnosed with skin cancer through Mohs surgery, which has the highest cure rate for treating most skin cancers.” Dr. Li is especially interested in cutaneous oncology, facial reconstructive surgery, nail disorders, and cosmetic dermatology. She enjoys reading, hiking, traveling and trying new cuisines and restaurants.
