About James W. Felch, DMD
Dr. Felch is a graduate of LECOM School of Dental Medicine where he received the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Horace Wells Award and exhibited a particular interest in oral surgery and dental implants. He spent last year at LECOM's community outreach clinic in DeFuniak Springs where he provided comprehensive care to patients in the surrounding underserved areas. Having lived in St. Petersburg as a professional for 15 years, Dr. Felch, his lovely wife and his two beautiful daughters are deeply immersed in the community with their church, professional and neighborhood associations and his daughter's school. Dr. Felch is also the staff dentist for the St. Petersburg Free Clinic, an organization that provides dental care and other services to underserved, uninsured adults. By volunteering for the Free Clinic and other charitable dental clinics, Dr. Felch continues to give back to the community. Dr. Felch, a licensed architect, has a well trained eye for design and beauty. He continues to improve his extensive knowledge of dentistry through continuing educational courses and seminars on subjects such as dental implants, sedation and cosmetic dentistry.
