About Ilona Shternfeld, MD
Dr. Ilona Shternfeld completed her undergraduate studies at Columbia University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then attended the NYU School of Medicine and did her Ophthalmology Residency at OSU, Columbus, Ohio. She has been in practice in Connecticut since 2003. As a Fellowship trained, Board Certified eye surgeon, Dr. Shternfeld has an understanding of facial anatomy and optimal proportions. Her goal in treating patients with aesthetic products is to maintain a natural look, while enhancing the balance of their facial features. Helping patients to have a more relaxed, youthful appearance is the main objective of her aesthetic practice. Dr. Shternfeld takes a very individual approach to cosmetic dermatology. Because no two faces are exactly alike, no two treatments should be exactly the same.
