About Howard Weiner, DMD
Dr. Howard Weiner earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pittsburgh, where he had also earned his undergraduate degree in Economics. Born in Baltimore and raised on Long Island, Dr. Weiner passed up his original career choice - kitchen design - in favor of his passion for dentistry. He chose Eastman Dental Center in Rochester for his residency, completing the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program - and remaining at Eastman for ten years to serve on the teaching staff. While teaching at Eastman, Dr. Weiner extended his skills to the community, treating adult patients in rural areas of New York's Allegheny County and at the Brown Square Health Center. In addition to his work at the North Coast Dental Group, Dr. Weiner serves on the boards of Pittsford Crew, an organization that supports youth rowing in the greater Rochester area and the Pittsford Indoor Rowing Center. He is an instrument rated private pilot and member of the Williamson Flying Club. He and his wife enjoy outdoor activities including skiing, both on snow and water, kayaking, hiking, walking their dog 'Lucy' and wine tasting in the Finger Lake Wine country. They have three grown children.
