About Henry C. Rapp, DMD
Dr. Henry Rapp III to care for them with the latest proven advances in dentistry. Dr. Rapp is known by his patients for his contagious energy, enthusiasm, humor, and attention to detail. Dr. Rapp approaches dentistry with an emphasis on his patient’s comfort and psychological well-being as part of their total health. Skilled in all phases of cosmetic, general, and reconstructive dentistry and using the latest technologies, Dr. Rapp will partner with you to improve not only your smile but help to maintain your healthy smile for life. Dr. Rapp is certified in implant restoration and is a member of the prestigious Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Rapp has practiced dentistry since 1996. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Purchase College with a major in psychology at which time his senior thesis was published. Dr. Rapp continued on to receive his DMD degree from Case Western University School of Dental Medicine located in Cleveland, Ohio. While at Case, Dr. Rapp acted as a student delegate and alternate to the Ohio State Dental Association. After graduation, Dr. Rapp continued his dental education as part of a general residency program at New York Cornell’s St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York. Dr. Rapp was then invited to join the staff at Beth Israel Hospital. As an attending doctor at the Continuum Health Care Partners/Beth Israel Medical Center, Dr. Rapp both established and headed the dental clinic at The Peter Krueger Center. Dr. Rapp regularly attends conferences, enrolls in continuing education courses, and maintains affiliation with an array of professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Connecticut Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration as well as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. When Dr. Rapp is not practicing dentistry or reviewing new methods of treatment and patient care, he enjoys an active lifestyle as well as contributing time to various church projects. He also enjoys traveling and treasures time with family and friends. Dr. Rapp and his team will strive to make your treatment convenient and comfortable.
