About Gregory Fisher
Gregory T. Fisher, M.D. was born in San Francisco and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. He also studied at Harvard University as well as Yale University. He earned his Doctorate in Medicine at Columbia University’s College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York City, studied at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Hospital and was Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery at Columbia-St. Luke’s Hospital. Dr. Fisher was in charge of the replantation team at University Hospital where he served on the faculty during and after his fellowship in hand and micro-surgery at the University of Colorado Medical Center. Dr. Fisher is board certified by the American Board of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery one of whose founding members was the world-renowned father of plastic surgery, Professor Jerome P. Webster, M.D. of Columbia University. Dr. Webster tutored and encouraged Dr. Fisher to dedicate himself to this most interesting field. Using Dr. Webster’s Plastic Surgery Department’s method for training, Dr. Fisher has created an entire university quality plastic surgery facility with the advantage to the patient receiving care only by Dr. Fisher and his team of expert healthcare professionals. Dr. Fisher studied breast surgery under Dr. C.D. Haagensen, also a world-renowned authority and Chief of Breast Cancer Treatment Program at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York City.
