About Gil Rodriguez-Mccann, DDS
Dr. Rodriguez-McCann was born in California but spent much of his childhood living abroad. His father is a native of Madrid, Spain, and was a professor of Spanish literature for over thirty years. His mother is of Irish descent, and taught Spanish and French in public schools for over two decades. As a child, Dr. Rodriguez-McCann lived in Spain where his father taught at a local university for several years. It was during this time that he became fluent in Spanish. Dr. Rodriguez-McCann's family later moved to Northern Ireland where he learned more about his mother's background. Dr. Rodriguez-McCann's travels taught him to be very versatile, and have given him a great love of history and the world. Dr. Rodriguez-McCann's uncle, Dr. Michael McCann, was one of the founders of the dentistry program at the University of California, Los Angeles, as well as a source of guidance and inspiration to him throughout his life.
