About Gene A. Herrera, DDS
Dr. Herrera is a graduate of the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He is Board Certified in implant dentistry and has broad knowledge and experience in all phases of general and cosmetic dentistry, including bone and gum grafts, crowns, dentures, orthodontics including Invisalign (clear braces) and Short Term Orthodontics (fast braces for adults), root canals and extractions. To make your experience more comfortable, Dr. Herrera is licensed in California to provide Oral Conscious Sedation. His passion for dentistry and dedication to his patients are evident the moment you meet him. He enjoys working with children, treating whole families and believes in letting his patients make educated decisions regarding their oral health. His approach to your treatment starts with patiently listening to you. Then, after a complete and thorough examination, a personalized treatment plan is prepared for you. His professional service includes active membership in several respected dental organizations. His achievements include a Mastership Award, the highest level of achievement in dentistry, from the Academy of General Dentistry. He has also received a Diplomate Award from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and an Associate Fellowship Award from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Herrera is on the cusp of earning a Diplomate Award from the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. He is a former instructor and resident of the California Implant Institute's Master of Oral Implantology Program.
