About Gaurav Bharti, MD
Dr. Gaurav Bharti is a board certified plastic surgeon in Charlotte, NC. He performs a full range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, including breast augmentation, mommy makeovers, breast revision surgery, body contouring, facial surgery, and breast reconstruction. Gaurav Bharti spent his early years in New York, where his father trained as a neonatologist. They moved to Johnson City, where Dr. Bharti attended high school and then went on to receive his undergraduate degree. He then entered Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). After graduating from medical school in 2006, Dr. Bharti moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he completed residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Before graduating in 2012, Dr. Bharti rose to the position of chief resident in his program. During his last year as Chief Resident he also managed a cosmetic surgery clinic. He currently served as an assistant professor in the division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Quillen College of Medicine ETSU Physicians. He is now a practicing in Charlotte, NC. Dr. Bharti has spoken at national and regional venues presenting his research in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. In addition, Dr. Bharti has been involved in medical missions to Chisinau, Moldova and Cochabamba, Bolivia. His most recent trip focused on burn reconstruction surgery for the pediatric population in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Dr. Bharti believes that plastic surgery is a balance of compassion, understanding, and technical skill. ""I am lucky to have found this wonderful career.
