About Gary A. Morris, DDS
Dr. Morris completed his undergraduate studies in chemistry at Indiana University in Bloomington IN prior to enrolling at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Dentistry, and Doctor of Dental Surgery. He completed his residency in Prosthodontics at the University of Missouri, Kansas City and joined Dr. Shiffman in practice in Buffalo Grove shortly there after. An Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Graduate Education at the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and a former Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry, Dr. Morris has continued his commitment to education by lecturing extensively both nationally and internationally on dental implants, implant Prosthodontics and other topics related to implant and restorative dentistry. He has authored or co-authored numerous articles published in the scientific literature relating to dental implants. He sat on the committee that formed the Dental Implant Center at Southern Illinois University and continues as a mentor doctor and consultant for Biomet/3i, a leading dental implant manufacturer. Understanding that each patient is an individual and that no two patient’s needs are the same, Dr. Morris will spend the time to get to know you. Followed by a thorough, comprehensive examination, he will develop a treatment plan designed to return your dentition to a state of health, beauty and function based on your individual diagnosis and desired outcome. Once your treatment is complete, a maintenance schedule will be designed for you with the idea of preservation of your restorations and prevention of further treatment in mind.
