About Gary W. Farrimond, DDS
Dr. Wayne Farrimond has extensive experience in many areas of general dentistry. Although accomplished in the most progressive dental procedures, he is a true believer in continuing education and stays current by participating in state-of-the-art training. Dr. Farrimond has been a life-long resident of this area, establishing his practice more than 23 years ago in Schertz. He is a graduate of Trinity University and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas at Houston in 1982. After graduation, he returned to San Antonio to practice for a short time alongside his father, Dr. Marvin Farrimond. With the opportunity to come to Schertz, Dr. Wayne Farrimond relocated and assumed the practice of Dr. Roy Richards. Dr. Farrimond has provided quality dentistry for his patients, caring for adults and children in his practice. He also has a commitment to provide the utmost in care for the elderly. His dedication to provide care for the aged takes him to many of the nursing homes in the area. Working closely with the families and caregivers has made a standard of care available to the eldery that otherwise might have been compromised due to their limited mobility. Dr. G. Wayne Farrimond has been a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry for 25 years. He recently was awarded the Good Fellow award by the Texas Dental Association for his participation over the last 25 years. Married for 29 years to wife, Allyson, they have 3 children. Away from the office, Dr. Farrimond enjoys family, golfing, travel and the beach.
