About Fu-Tong Liu, MD
Fu-Tong Liu specializes in general dermatology with a particular interest in inflammatory skin disorders, including atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and autoimmune skin diseases, as well as mast cell diseases, such as urticaria and mastocytosis. As an allergy and immunology researcher, he is a pioneer and leading investigator in the study of a family of proteins called galectins. His research is focused on their functions in inflammation and immunity, as well as cancer progression and adiposity.
